Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to determine welding requirements, prepare materials and carry out routine welding of either mild steel or aluminium using a forge. Welding in this unit is not required to meet the AS/NZS 1554 General Purpose Standard.The unit applies to individuals who perform welding relevant to farriery services across different equine industry sectors.No occupational licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
